My background spans drawing and painting; film making; design and animation. Starting out, I studied Film at University College Dublin, and spent a semester cutting and splicing 16mm film at NYU in New York. Later, I studied Animation at Ballyfermot College,and subsequently worked in animation studios in Dublin and Vancouver. I have also facilitated digital media, animation, and art workshops in South Africa. I provide designs and artwork for a number of Dublin-based animation studios; and I'm a lead Trainer for MacProVideo who have published my online courses on How to Draw, Storyboards, Design and Layout. 

Currently I live in South Africa and provide commercial artwork on a freelance basis; I paint, and teach life drawing workshops.

My art practice centres around the figure and focuses on the body as a site of memory, knowledge and experience. I am interested in exploring the notion that everything knowable is also embodied, and for me this exploration is grounded in gesture as a way to express those embodied experiences and shared narratives.
