Radii: e-learning apps + games

For Radii's client CJ Fallon, I created over 500 unique backgrounds, as well as storyboards and props, used for a cross-curriculum suite of primary school digital learning apps and games.

Kavaleer produced a short film funded by the Irish Film Board. The film has a very hand-drawn, inky line style which I used to create the backgrounds and to filter the animation.

Abbi's Circle is a series of 3 short animated films about migration issues in Ireland which I designed and devloped for FOMACS. The films were funded by the Irish Film Board and The Atlantic Philanthropies, and the first short in the series won Best Irish Short Film in the 2007 Stranger than Fiction Film Festival. All three films have been screened in international film festivals, including the Seattle Children's Film Festival.
The films were developed and incorporated into 3 extensive teaching packs for primary schools, in collaboration with primary school teachers and INTO, and the packs now part of the National Primary School curriculum through the innovative Think and Act online resource: http://www.thinkandact.ie
